Social media highlighted the clear need for more accessible dance opportunities worldwide, especially after revealing the challenges many dancers face, including limited resources and proper dancewear. This inspired the creation of Encore. Further research showing that nearly half a million students in South Carolina face financial hardship made the mission even more urgent and meaningful.
